The framework of our professional services
Agreement of Service
By engaging Fire Door Inspection Specialists, you agree to the following professional terms and conditions.
1. Services Provided
FDIS provides professional fire door inspections, maintenance, and compliance reporting to help building owners meet the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022.
2. Client Obligations
The client must ensure safe and full access to all fire doorsets (including communal and flat entrances) at the agreed time to allow for thorough inspection.
3. Professional Standards
Reports reflect the state of the door at the time of inspection. While we provide remedial guidance, legal responsibility for fire safety remains with the 'Responsible Person'.
4. Payment & Fees
Quotes are based on client-provided info. We reserve the right to adjust fees if the site scope differs. Standard payment terms are 30 days from the invoice date.
5. Liability & Insurance
FDIS maintains professional indemnity insurance. Our liability is limited to the total fees paid for the service, except in cases of personal injury or death by negligence.
6. Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled site visit may be subject to a standard cancellation fee to cover travel and scheduling costs.
